I dont think it was lag, because everyone else was moving
Some griefer brought a bear to our home ( we killed him :D) It didnt kill anyone fortunately but after a while it just stopped moving.

I noticed that if there’s meat lying around, the bear will eat it and eventually stay still for eternity.
