Add a thread to a full stack of papers written or blank to make a book. Then to read the first page swipe up to pick up the book. To turn the page and read automatically, tap the book. Or alternatively, have a button like for food or dogs to turn the page while holding the book. Books can be stored in boxes or maybe bookshelves and they can be colored by being dyed by having the top paper dyed before applying the thread. They can also be written in after being bound. Alternatively, the process to make the book could also include glue and leather to extend the tech tree.

I think if you add a rabbit hide to it then sew it together that how you could make a book. Then in you get a chisel you can carve a title onto the book. And if you dye the book that’s how you have the books to be different colors.
