I would like to have crows in game because they are my favorite animal.
So i thought they could pick some grains at farms.
Then i thought maybe people dont want them near the farm so i came up with a scarecrow.

Seems like a nice idea! All the materials are allready in game to, expect for crows of course. The crows should also make a sound so families without a scarecrow could protect their crops. It also serves a challenge for players who find an abandoned village and don’t have crops available.
