It would be nice if opening the keyboard re-centers the player on the screen so it is easier to move around (like it does when the recipe book is open).
I agree. The OS doesn’t tell us how much of the screen it uses for the keyboard, but maybe we should just make an educated guess. I guess it would be an improvement even if we can’t center exactly?
So I just did some quick math, and I’ve come up with…
For iOS at least, my vertical keyboard takes up roughly 22% of my screen depending on whether the predictive text is on.
My horizontal keyboard takes up roughly 54% of my screen, again depending on whether predictive text is on or not
