The new „bear trap“ is an weapon against roaming bears.
With two saw blades and a hammer you can build a bear trap.
Then you install the bear trap with stakes. You can put it everywhere in the gray biome or directly in front of a bear cave.
When a bear is on the tile the trap catches the bear and he wont be able to move anymore.
Then you can kill him with 3 arrows as before.
I really like this idea. It’s a simple, but effective item. I see lots of roaming bears witch can be dangerous. The recipe is also fair. I can see this added.
Fantastic idea. Maybe mutton or fish as a bait with different ability to catch bear. Fish more powerful because it is harder to get
I love this idea! We can put them in front of bear caves so if griefer lets out a bear it’s stuck.
I like this idea! Traps should also not be able to get removed easily and maybe players get hurt if they walk over it?
Maybe you can use a chisel to deactivate it. And i don’t think it is good if it kills players, because you can also tap the ground tile instead of the bear trap.
Yeah, this is good for stopping griefers!
