Choose spot
A good spot to settle down and build your village is between the greenlands and the swamps biomes. What we are looking for is the following:Greenlands
The greenlands will provide you with berries for food and soil to grow food. There is also milkweed and tree branches for basic tools to make fire: bow drill and hatchet. In the greenlands you find also resources for farm tools: skewer and stone hoe.Swamps
The swamps have clay and reeds to build an oven or a smithing station. With the clay you can make bowls and with the reeds you can make baskets. There is also water for watering your farm plants.Tip: I tend to make farms close to water because nobody wants to make water runs.
